Start Here...

This map shows the five BFHUA "areas".  Select the "Interest Form" based on where you live. You will then be matched up with an Area Coordinator who will help you through the training process and other obligations to becoming an umpire.

Here are your next steps:

1. Take the NFHS online “Officiating Field Hockey” course from the NFHS Learning Center. Please send the Certificate of Completion to your Area Coordinator.
2. After you complete the online course we will invoice you $120, which includes your BFHUA training fee, first-year BFHUA dues, a safety-green BFHUA umpiring shirt, a whistle, lanyard and penalty cards.
